    Preparing for Friday's Feeding Frenzy

    many hundreds and perhaps thousands of people, worldwide, are eagerly waiting for the questioning of geoffrey jackson at the australian royal commission on institutional response to child abuse.

    this is the day that many have hungered for.

    finally, a member of the governing body being questioned and compelled to make full disclosure, to the best of his knowledge, the very best of his knowledge.

    Many hundreds and perhaps thousands of people, worldwide, are eagerly waiting for the questioning of Geoffrey Jackson at the Australian Royal Commission on Institutional Response to child abuse. This is the day that many have hungered for. Finally, a member of the Governing Body being questioned and compelled to make full disclosure, to the best of his knowledge, the very best of his knowledge.

    How many times have individuals phoned the Bethel headquarters, seeking answers to their questions, hungering for the truth, for the simple black and white, straight answers. How many times did they go away, unfed and still hungry for truthful answers. How many times have the faithful as well as the discontented, the disgruntled, the disaffected, the disatisfied, the disappointed and the disfellowshipped searched for words of clarity and truth in the pages of the Watchtower, and been left unfulfilled.

    What a hunger they have endured and now, Br. Geoffrey Jackson, of the Governing Body, will be questioned by the best of them, Mr. Angus Stewart, and at Mr. Angus Stewart's pleasure and convenience.

    Yes, so many prepare now for the great feast, Friday's Feeding Frenzy.

    Might Geoffrey Jackson attempt or commit suicide as a result of the ARC?

    this may seem to be a harsh subject, but we have repeatedly heard how shunned jw's, of all ages, have committed suicide.

    they succumbed to the harsh treatment brought on them by the watchtower society and in turn their families and so-called friends.. is it possible that the 'harsh treatment' the australian royal commission will met out to mr. jackson, by the relentless, probing questions, that he consider suicide?

    perhaps losing face under the onslaught of merciless questioning, bringing that which is hidden into the light.

Perhaps losing face under the onslaught of merciless questioning, bringing that which is hidden into the light. It may be more than he can endure. He may be a weak and insecure man under the trappings of his Governing Body persona.

    Governing Body missing their big chance

    it seems to me that the governing body is missing an excellent opportunity to demonstrate that they are indeed the faithful and discreet slavetm.

    even if, as they claim, they collectively constitute the slavetm only when meeting together to consider spiritual matters, surely any one of their number could expect to be guided by holy spirittm when testifying before the australian royal commission on such an important matter.. in fact, they should widely publicize the hearing and encourage all jw's to watch it live.

    this would show they have nothing to fear and really believe all the (hot steaming piles of) spiritual food they've been spewing.. after all, their own translation of the bible says, at matthew 10:18-20, "18 and you will be brought before governors and kings+ for my sake, for a witness to them and the nations.+ 19 however, when they hand you over, do not become anxious about how or what you are to speak, for what you are to speak will be given you in that hour;+ 20 for the ones speaking are not just you, but it is the spirit of your father that speaks by you.".

    My two great hopes regarding Geoffrey Jackson's RC testimony

    my greatest hope is that when geoffrey was a youngun' that his momma taught him to 'tell the truth'.. if geoffrey does not tell the truth, my second great hope is that his momma 'wallups him, but good'.. here's hoping he doesn't 'crawfish' on the witness stand.. crawfish :

    Jw kids setting off fire alarms in hotels

    a friend of mine is staying at a hotel next to one of the big convention sites this weekend.

    yesterday she tells me one of the hotels had to be evacuated and the fire brigade called when the fire alarm went off.. it turned out to be a bunch of jw kids having a prank.

    she had been speaking to the hotel manager who told her that this happens every year and only when the jw's come to stay!.
